Serious Magic Users Forum

Thanks to everyone on the Serious Magic Users Forum for all there help over the last 6 months helping me to get my video tutorials up and running. Things have improved a lot over the last few months with all your help. Posted by Jaron Fraser from www.problogtips.com

It was one of the last video’s that I made before business commitments elsewhere caused me to take a break.

You will start to see a difference in quality of the video clips uploaded after January 2009. By that time, I’d had a chance to improve my video production skills, and was also able to spend more time on this part of my web business.

Green Screen Setup

The lighting I use when creating my video tutorials consists of all daylight 5400K fluro sofboxs, backlights and hairlights. The camera is a Canon XH A1 with a Sony ECM 77B lapel mic plugged into the side via an XLR input.

Software of choice for doing the Chroma Keying is Ultra 2. Used Sony Vegas Platinum as the NLE together with Digital Juice Swipes and Jumpbacks.

This video clip was posted to Google on… 15th August 2007

You will notice that the aspect ratio is not correct… looks sqished, giving me an elongated head. Left this video clip as it is… to remind me not to make the same mistake again.
